About Our Company

Pragya Precision Equipment Private Limited manufactures heavy industrial machines for steel and oilseed processing. Our journey began in 1992 with Pragya Hydro Equipment. In 2020 we became Pragya Precision Equipment Private Limited—the same team and standards, under a new name. With over 30 years of experience, we specialize in customized solutions for complex industrial challenges.

We serve 600+ clients in 22+ countries across 5 continents. Our products fall into two main groups: Steel Handling and Testing Equipment and Solvent Extraction Machines, plus bespoke Special Purpose Machines for specialized requirements.

We focus on customer-oriented consulting and individual planning, creating tailored concepts for each project. Our commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency ensures that our machinery meets the highest standards. Each machine we design is customized and tailor-made to meet our customer's specific operational needs.

Our Journey

1992

Foundation

Mr. L.C. Tolani (BE Mech., FIE), our Chairman and Managing Director, founded Pragya Hydro Equipment as an SSI unit in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. He brought 14+ years of expertise from his work with HEG Ltd., Hindustan Motors Ltd., and C.C. Power Hydraulics Pvt. Ltd.—experience that shaped our approach to hydraulic and industrial equipment design.

Building Our Legacy

Through the 1990s we established ourselves by innovating in the design, development, and manufacturing of equipment for CR/HR steel mills, sheet galvanizing plants, solvent extraction plants, tube mills, and saw pipe plants. Mr. Tolani's hands-on approach to engineering—from conceptual design through manufacturing—became the backbone of our growth.

2000

National Recognition

Mr. Tolani received the National Award for Outstanding SSI Entrepreneur from Honourable Prime Minister Shri A.B. Vajpayee at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, recognizing his contributions to Indian industry.

2020

New Chapter

We evolved into Pragya Precision Equipment Private Limited, expanding our capabilities while maintaining the innovation-driven ethos Mr. Tolani instilled from the beginning.

Present Day

We serve clients across India and internationally from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, with manufacturing operations at Pithampur Industrial Area—continuing our commitment to engineering excellence and custom solutions.
